How to Access the Four Interactive Online Training Tutorials for Family History Consultants and Priesthood Leaders and How to Prepare Your Computer to Display Them

Start your tutorial access at http://www.lds.org/

Note: You can left click on any image to enlarge it. Then, after viewing, just click the back button to return to the tutorial.

Now move to the Family History Resource portal page by clicking on “Serving in the Church” and then “Family History.”

This is the portal page for accessing registration, tutorials, videos and many other Family History training resources.

Now select the top link on the left menu: “Priesthood Leadership of Family History.”

The links for the four online tutorials will now be displayed toward the bottom of the page.
(Each lesson only takes about fifteen minutes.)

You will notice that just above the list of tutorials, there is a note advising the need to download the latest version of the free “Macromedia Flash Player.”

Clicking on that link will take you to this “Plug In” download page. Click on the ICON for the Adobe Flash Player.

As you start the Introduction to the four tutorials, you will be presented with this page.

It provides a final opportunity for the Church’s presentation system to check your computer to verify that its settings and software programs will properly present the lessons that your are about to view.

If it finds any tweaking that is necessary, it will guide you step-by-step on what to do.
